50th Anniversary Opening Animation
To create a more engaging and celebratory atmosphere for the 50th Anniversary concert, I designed and produced an original motion graphics sequence that was displayed before the performance as audience members entered the venue.
The piece served as both a visual welcome and an introduction to the premiere of 50 Years of Community: A Tribute to the Community Band of the Palouse. The motion graphic helped establish the tone of the event, build anticipation for the tribute video, and reinforce the significance of the band's milestone anniversary.
Creative Approach
Developed animated visual elements aligned with the anniversary theme
Created custom graphics and motion assets using Adobe Creative Suite
Designed the piece to function in a live event environment
Considered audience engagement, pacing, and event flow
Integrated the sequence into the overall storytelling experience of the evening

Posters, Social Media, and Local advertisements
As a designer, musician, and board member for the Community Band of the Palouse, I developed promotional materials for seasonal concerts and special events. While each concert shared the same overarching objective of attracting audiences and increasing community engagement, every performance presented a unique creative opportunity.
I was given significant creative freedom to develop the visual identity for each concert, allowing me to create distinct concepts that reflected the theme, repertoire, or seasonal nature of the performance while maintaining consistency with the organization's image and mission.
Creative Challenge
Each concert required a fresh visual approach despite serving the same marketing purpose. The challenge was to create memorable and engaging campaigns that felt unique from previous performances while remaining recognizable to returning audience members.
Through concept development, typography, color selection, and visual storytelling, I created marketing materials that helped distinguish each event and communicate its personality to the community.
